Salary Advances

On occasion an employee needs an advance on his or her salary. In order that this policy may be routinely and consistently followed, a list of reasons for salary advancement has been provided below:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Family emergencies
  • Other job related reasons (auto repair, tools, etc)

All advances must receive the approval of a business officer. Repayments are to be made by salary deduction and advances must be repaid within the next payroll period. A total of two salary advances of $250, maximum, may be made during any one calendar year.
