Endowed and Restricted Scholarships are made possible by the many dedicated donors to the college. These donors are the alumni and friends of Mercyhurst College - all who exhibit a belief in the college’s mission. With their financial giving, they are providing a vision of a tomorrow when the college becomes less and less dependent on tuition and more dependent on the endowment. It is these endowed and restricted scholarships which are available to students wishing to be a part of the best liberal arts education in this region and are also available to all, regardless of socio-economic status.

Endowed and restricted scholarship awards are based on earnings availability during a fiscal year and restricted scholarship awards are based on donor contributions during a fiscal year. New scholarships are presently being developed for Erie and North East students and may not appear in the current listing for endowed and restricted scholarships. Updated information will be provided to the webmaster as it becomes available.

Applications for these scholarship awards will be accepted from January 1 through May 1 only. All applications must first meet the scholarship criteria. Once a student meets the criteria for the scholarship, then awarding is based on the student’s academic qualifications and financial aid need.
