Preston Hall Mailroom

Mailboxes in this area accomodate resident students, off campus students, faculty, and staff. The Preston Hall Mailroom performs the following tasks for the Mercyhurst Community:

• Packages are picked-up here
• Stamps are sold here
• Packages can be mailed to locations within the USA (certain USPS restictions may apply)
• International letters can be weighed to ensure correct postage
• Sealing tape, and package labels are available for student use

Customers should be aware of the following:

• No International packages will be accepted
• Preston Mailroom does not provide insurance, express, or certified mail services
• Checks, Credit Cards and Campus Cards are prohibited
• Incoming mail in boxes by Noon, outgoing mail must be received by 2:30pm

Student Union Mailroom

Mailboxes in this area are used only for students living on campus. The Student Union Mailroom performs the following tasks:

• Stamps are sold here
• Mailbox combinations are available here
• Incoming mail in boxes by 1pm, outgoing mail must be received by 12:30pm

A Reminder

All mail should be addressed with your proper name, and mailbox number. It is your responsibility to open your mailbox. If you should have a problem with your box, please inform the staff at either the Student Union Mailroom, or the Preston Hall Mailroom. Ther mailbox you are assigned will be yours for the entire time that you live on campus. If you leave campus housing, but plan to return at a later time, inform the Preston Hall Mailroom so that your box number will be held for you. To ensure the safety of your mail, keep your mailbox locked.
