About Campus Ministry
What is the role of Campus Ministry at Mercyhurst?
Campus Ministry serves as the spiritual presence for the entire campus community. As a Catholic institution which offers the Mass, the sacraments and Catholic doctrine and tradition, Mercyhurst also values a spiritually rich environment for all students to deepen their relationship with God by providing a Protestant campus minister as well as opportunities for persons of all faiths. Campus Ministry offers a welcoming atmosphere (our lounge is known as the “living room of the campus!”) and serves as a center of opportunities for students, faculty, staff and administration. Various experiences exist for personal spiritual growth through worship services, retreats, prayer groups. Bible study gatherings, social activities as well as pastoral counseling and spiritual direction with the campus ministers or college chaplain. Since one's faith life is strengthened through service to those in need, a variety of works of mercy are also available. Come and be a part of who we are and what we do! Peace.
