Mission Committee

This committee should have a clear understanding of both the religious mission of the Sisters of Mercy, founders of the College, and the current educational mission of the College. Its responsibilities include assessing:

• Is what Mercyhurst is doing in keeping with both the religious and the educational mission of the College?
• Is the mission governing the College’s actions?
• How can the College do a better job to strengthen the mission in words and actions both in and out of the classroom?

Membership

• Two (2) Administrators - Gerry Tobin and Jim Lieb
• Two (2) Faculty - Sue Gushie and Chris Colin
• Two (2) students - Andrew Schuler and Dinorah Sanchez
• Sr. Lisa Mary - President of the Sister of Mercy
