The Division of Student Life is an integral part of our students’ education and emergence into a life of personal development, maturity, and responsibility. The division also supports our students by offering health and counseling services, career services, community service and worship experiences, and a variety of leadership opportunities. The Division of Student Life educates students beyond the academic classroom and prepares women and men to live lives characterized by responsible choices and leadership beyond the Gates.

Mission Statement
Recognizing the importance of the student educational and developmental experience that extends outside of the classroom, the Division of Student Life seeks to foster a hospitable environment which provides our students an opportunity to learn to live responsibly, respectfully, and reflectively as interdependent members of a diverse community inspired by the Mercy tradition. The Division fulfills Mercyhurst’s mission by supporting, engaging, and challenging students in their on-going exploration of their place in the world.
